In the description of me under Lovey Dovey Me, the second one isn't really my description, the first Allison is. It's a confusing process. Their both me, one's just not really me.

Working With Others- Good, Bad, or Ugly?

Well, to me, working with others can be good, or bad. It really depends on who you are with. For me, most of the people I get paired up with are awesome and so fun to work with. Sometimes though, they are not.  In this blog post I am going to tell you some things that I faced having a partner in our lit circle. If you are a random person roaming the internet you may have no idea of what I am talking about. Still, enjoy.

Mainly the benefits of having a partner are that you have a lighter load. Meaning you, of course, still do have to work a lot. But it will be easier because you can tell what you need to work on, because you partner will tell you. That helps because if you were by yourself you would probably be wondering what you need to work on. ( What I am saying basically is what you need to improve on in your work.) Plus your probably reading through it and in your eyes it is good. It is awesome. But probably not to your partner. It may be good to you, but not everyone thinks the same. That it a big reason why I think working with others is a great benefit to your work.

Another reason working with a partner rocks because if you have a partner you can split up some jobs. Lets say there are 2 main topics your supposed work on. Splitting up jobs is usually a good idea because you can each focus on one thing which allows you to find out more about that one thing. If you were by yourself you would probably be focusing on the 2 main things and you probably would have to limit yourself how much research you do on that one thing. That would mean you would have to balance how much time you spend on the topic, thus, not getting as much research done. But if you have a partner you can have more research on BOTH things! Aren't partners just positively wonderful?

I have to point out some things before I continue this blog post. The beginning paragraphs weren't really about our lit circle. But the 2nd paragraph had something to do with lit circle because it was about helping each other out with deciding the quality of your work. The next paragraphs will mainly be about the lit circle. Except maybe the last paragraph may go a little bit off topic, just to let your know. In fact, I am pretty much going off topic right now. OK, let me stop. Now lets continue based on the assignment, shall we? Yes, we shall.

I've told you two examples of the good things. Now here are some obstacles one like me may have faced with my partner that I was put with. They are not bad. I loved the person I got put with for this one assignment. (Mainly they have something to do with my thoughts and feelings.) Well first things first. Me and my partner made a layout on when we were going to do what. Well, here's the problem. We did not follow the plan, none of us did. We ended up like doing 2 things in one day. It took us a while to get adapted. We were doing some of the things we were supposed to do the day before to late. Example: We were supposed to do our connection on one day. I think it was Saturday. Well, instead we did it on Sunday with a Vocab that we were supposed to do by itself that day. That was one main obstacle we had.

Another obstacle we had to face was our questions. Honestly, in the beginning, both of our questions sucked. So we had to think of new ones all together. There was no way what so ever to change our questions. (Yes our questions so sucked that much we couldn't even improve them!) Well anyway. At first we were talking about the levels of questions. Like what level were our questions and what we could do to make them higher level questions. Then, like I said before, we figured out that we could not improve our questions. If we did then things would get too confusing. So we were going to look at some of the question stems the our teacher gave to us. Then we suddenly thought of a question! (I am not going to tell you just in case you get any ideas.) That is another example of a obstacle that we faced face to face.

Now I am going to tell you a understanding of the novel that I gained in this experience. I am only going to tell you one understanding instead of the recent two because this was a pretty hard question. I gained the understanding really how loyal Charlotte is. At first I just thought, she seems really nice. But then my partner made me realize just how loyal she is by her passage, and her question. Her question was about loyalty, and her passage was about how brave she was to be loyal to the crew. People who are just browsing the internet probably have no idea what I am talking about. But trust me, if you do not have reading groups that involve questions, picking parts from the book, or even connecting or picking a complicated question, you do not really need to know. That is a understanding I gained from the experience.

Well, I guess this is the end of my blog post. May I remind you that this is for school purposes only! I don't really do this in my free time. I probably, if this was not for school use, would barely have anything posted. Mainly because what would I post about anyway? I'm guessing Greyson Chance and Justin Bieber. About how much I am a fan of them, about how they are my role models, but seriously? I know I am a huge fan of them both, but I don't really know what their doing all the time. I don't stay focused on them that much because I don't get to what their doing until last minute. (Mainly because of the country I am in.) By the way I was showed a video about Greyson in 5th grade. Man has he skyrocketed to the top! A lot to go in just one year! Other than that I probably would have nothing to do, nothing to post. Well, that REALLY concludes this blog post. I have been rambling on about nothing for this paragraph!

Thanks for reading!
